This course outlines the location and cultures of all present-day countries.
Economics Honors
Teacher: Justin Weise
The purpose of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and decision-making tools necessary for understanding how society organizes its limited resources to satisfy its wants. Students will gain understanding of choices they must make as producers, consumers, investors, and taxpayers.
American History Honors

This class covers occupation of the North American continent from discovery to the present.

World Cultures

The purpose of this course is to enable students to understand that the world is comprised of many diverse cultural groups who have made significant contributions to our past and present. Students will understand the shared characteristics among various cultural groups.
American Civics

The purpose of this course is to enable students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for active participation in a democratic society. Students will become informed citizens in regard to their local, state, and federal government.

American History

U.S. History

The purpose of this course is to enable students to understand the development of the United States within the context of history by examining connections to the past to prepare for the future as participating members of a democratic society.  Students will use knowledge pertaining to history, geography, economics, political process, religion, ethics, diverse cultures and humanities to solve problems in academic, civic, social and employment settings.

The requirements include, but are not limited to, the benchmarks from the Sunshine State Standards that are most relevant to this course.  Benchmarks correlated with a specific course requirement may also be addressed by other requirements as appropriate.

European History AP

Students will study the forces which have shaped European history in preparation for the AP exam.
